The Leaderboard. Post! Post! Post!
Our Leaderboard was created in 2009 by a flurry of different peeps in our community. Dinos the “Mountain Man” got it started but then moved away (back with us now +1). It stands as a unifying catalyst for our community.
You do not have to be the best or even most competitive CrossFitter to use it. Its an excellent way to track your scores and development. There are even little fields to enter the progressions you use. Whether you are a recreational CrossFit Vancouverer (ie. Reto) or want to blow the roof off the box, the Leaderboard is an essential tool for you and your fitness. No playing small allowed!
Mad Lab Business Systems is currently developing new software name “Pocket Coach”. A considerable upgrade to the Leaderboard, it will be accessible through your phone and the internet. This will eventually replace the Leaderboard and the analog books we are currently using. It should be ready by 2018 (Tee Hee).
But in the meantime lets keep using and juicing the Leaderboard!
Cabana Boy put this slide show together so that everybody knows how to register and post on the Leaderboard (Dashie helped too). Please don’t let their efforts go to waste. POST TO THE LEADERBOARD!!

You Bastard! That middle name is forbidden, yo!
Don’t worry, I understand that “active and colorful” is code for abundant – plentiful – profuse – ample – rich – generous – and annoying.
By Dashie 30 May 2013
Sorry I let the middle name slip

I’ve got a love-hate relationship with this wod, bleeding hands weren’t so much fun last time but not too many wods have backsquats in high volume! Yay!
very ‘excite’ indeed.

Love the Wendy! (WOD and person)
For the ripped hands crew:
Try ‘ballistic’ ring rows (a la Andy)… meaning really fast vs slow and agonizing
or
Try false grip ring rows… good ol muscle up practice. Turning the hands in at the top and out at the bottom.

And the leaderboard makes it super easy to track your progress on particular WODs – I like how it automatically shows you your previous scores on the WOD when you enter a new one!
I heart all of Wendy’s abundant and knowledgeable and amusing posts
And for ripped hands, also try mixed grip pull ups. Mine were ripped from chest to bar pull ups last week and then I did rotating mixed and reverse grips on GI Jane and they were mostly fine.

Big kudos to some of the “Hall of Famers” for their scores on this WOD. Andy in at 11:13 with the Pink Pig close on his heesl!

Ummm… leaderboard has girls weight at 55lbs, not the 65lbs posted today.
Morning classes did 65.
uh oh
By Woodchuckles 30 May 2013
I noticed that too, but isn’t the women’s weight usually 65lbs if the guys have to do 95?
Since my limiting factor this morning was slow pullups, not the weight on the bar I don’t know if I would have gone a whole lot faster with 55lbs…
And yes! Post to the Leaderboard! I love seeing everyone’s score and how much better/stronger/faster people are getting (including myself!)

Wendy is 55lbs for gals.
By Afghan 30 May 2013
It should be 75.
