Injury is a sticky subject in the fitness world. If you move you may get injured; if you don’t move you may get injured. Overuse or no use, injury may be lurking around the corner. Mitigate it with an abundance of tools. With a combination of Coach and Practitioner, you will give yourself the greatest access to resolving pain, preventing injury, and optimizing performance. Live a better life.

Practitioners assist coaches with an added depth to assessment, not to mention something our coaches don’t specialize in, treatment.

Our coaches are able to expand on issues and weakness identified by our practitioners to move you beyond.

Meet CJ

"CJ Castro’s journey began at the Madlab School of Fitness, which led to his enrollment and subsequent graduation from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2013. 

 

He believes that there must be teamwork between himself and the patient. Both are working together to achieve the same goal, so,  both must commit to the results and commit to the work. Movement is crucial to facilitate the healing process. And in order to prescribe appropriate and scalable movements for the patient, finding the root of an issue either, neurological or muscular, as well as any underlying discrepancies and compensations, is necessary.

 

Treatment incorporates soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilizations/MET, as well as the integration exercises in session and for homecare. Coupling both academic and practical knowledge he can provide thorough assessments, treatment, treatment plans, and homecare.”
