Are you scared of getting dehydrated?
What about becoming over hydrated? Probably less of a concern, right?
Did you know it’s far more dangerous to be over hydrated than dehydrated? Unless you’re legitimately stuck in the jungle without access to water, the fear of dehydration might just be overblown.
I’ve written a couple stories about it lately. Here is one of them in the CrossFit Journal.

M between 160 and 180lbs, use a 45lbs DB.
M over 181lbs, use a 50lbs DB
W under 129lbs, use a 25lbs DB
W between 130 and 145lbs, use a 30lbs DB
W over 146lbs, use a 35lbs DB
or scale as needed.
Athletes,
For the DB Snatch – keep free hand off of the thigh. Do not drop the DB.
For the weighted sit up – DB can be held against chest. Abmats are allowed. Feet must stay on the ground throughout the sit up. Shoulders must touch the ground at the bottom of the movement and then shoulders must pass over top of the hips at the top of the movement.
