As the past 28 days have improved our ranking on the fitness charts, I’d like to acknowledge Chesty and Bumpy for an outstanding February.

The month of March:  As the weather gets better, a little warmer, a little sunnier…the workouts will continue to be juicy.  And let’s not forget that The Open workouts are upon us.

That’s right, March is the month to throw down your A game and find out where you rank in the larger Crossfit community.  Every Friday this month, we will be participating in the Crossfit Games Open WOD.

For all the newbies, decrepit, etc., need not fear, for we’ll scale things down and give you progressions for all workouts!

Also this March I will be focusing on classic Crossfit workouts, bigger WODS earlier in the week, as well as strength/skill development.  B y later in the week we’ll showcase WODs with low reps and a light hit to help rest up for Friday’s Open workout.  Saturday I will try to keep the camaraderie going with a partner style workout.  The March focused movements we will be 10 x 10 Overhead Squats as well as pistols, L-sits, and a little more running.

90secs handstand

90secs L-sit

Tech: Power Clean work your way up to a heavy 3rep

then emom for 10 minutes preform 3 heavy powercleans
